Being on the list for the third consecutive year and topping all enterprises in the global glass manufacturing industry testify to Xinyi Solar’s outstanding performance in promoting sustainable development.

Global 100 has been one of the world’s most valued and transparent sustainability ratings. It assesses publicly traded companies with more than US$1 billion in revenue across 25 key performance indicators that cover resource management, employee management, financial management, sustainable revenue and sustainable investment, and supplier performance.

Upholding a business philosophy that emphasizes “green and sustainable development”, Xinyi Solar has been committed to implementing its “two enhancements and one reduction” sustainable development strategy. The goal of the “enhancement of solar glass production capacity and installed capacity of solar farms” is to help the world achieve carbon neutrality by the middle of this century and increase green electricity to reduce carbon emission. Meanwhile, the “reduction of energy consumption intensity and emission intensity of solar glass production” aims to minimise the negative environmental impact of solar glass production.
